In Los Angeles, more than 250,000 individuals experience homelessness in a given year. Los Angeles County is the homeless capital of the nation. Our city is marked by difficulties and there are no easy solutions. Yet, each day, there are organizations that are truly making a difference to eradicate poverty in our city.

The Downtown Los Angeles Social Service Providers are exclusively dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged and homeless individuals become self-sufficient through rehabilitation, housing, and employment opportunities.

The Central City East Association (CCEA) operates the CCEA Personal Property Storage Facility for Homeless Individuals. CCEA contracts formerly homeless staff to work in the facility. We have found this relationship to be not only effective, but vital to the economic well-being of the City and County of Los Angeles.
