Central City East Association (CCEA) is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit business corporation - the principal advocate for property owners, businesses, employees and residents on 46 blocks of Downtown Los Angeles. CCEA's administers two Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), spanning the area from San Pedro Street to the Los Angeles River - the eastern half of Downtown Los Angeles.

Property owners form CCEA to serve as an advocate for industrial Downtown.

1998
CCEA property owners form the Downtown Industrial BID.

2003
The Downtown Industrial BID is successfully renewed.

Downtown Industrial District BID is successfully renewed for five-year term (2010-2014) with approval vote of 83%.
